Elmo's Haven

 

Elmo's Haven is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated specifically to create a hospice home for Senior Dogs to be afforded the dignity of good medical and hospice care services that will usher them over the Rainbow Bridge with plenty of love and support.

Elmo’s Haven was inspired by the intense medical support that Elmo required during the last 2 years of his life.  He was diagnosed with Mitral Valve disease and had the complication of chronic bronchitis.  During this process we were encouraged to think of the many people who don’t have the privilege of being able to care for their senior dogs and as a consequence their furry family members are not afforded adequate end of life medical and hospice care with the ability to die with dignity.  Elmo’s Haven has been established for this sole purpose.
